AGENDA FOR FINALISTS

Wednesday 21st May 2025

From 12:00pm to 6:15pm

  • Please arrive at the Hotel W in Barcelona around 12:00pm – 1:00pm. Consider that you may wait to get your room ready.
  • Official check-in time at Hotel W Barcelona is between 3pm and 5pm. You will have a place to leave your luggage.
  • At MTD reception desk, please check and book your participation in one of the Debrief Sessions for Evaluation Day, offer from 12:00pm to 5:00pm (mandatory)
  • Hotel will ask for a credit card or cash in advance to cover any hotel “extras, products or services” e.g., mini bar, room service, spa, bar, etc, as MTD Event don’t cover these expenses. If you don’t have a credit card, please ask your unit to give you “cash in advance”.
  • On arrival you will be shown to the MTD Lounge where beverages and snacks refreshments, which you can use throughout your stay. Please feel free to connect with other Finalists and Evaluators.
  • Lunch will be available in the MTD lounge between the hours of 12noon and 2.00 pm. If you have added your diet restrictions in the registration form, the food will be indicated accordingly and contact hotel staff.
  • Please feel free to fill your bottles with water and take snacks, that you can also take back to your room
  • Please avoid videoconference or other meetings to enjoy the MTD experience.
  • We can’t offer private meeting rooms in the hotel to connect to virtual meetings before your room is available.

Thursday 22nd  May 2025

From 9:00am Starts evaluation of projects in the Evaluation rooms – Exact presentation time slots will be shared soon. Dress code: Business as usual

  • Please arrive to MTD Lounge 30 minutes prior to your evaluation. Our crew will be on hand to guide you through the process.
  • Once you have presented, you are free to leave the area and spend the remaining time, at leisure

7:30am – 10:00am Breakfast for finalists and guests served at SALT Restaurant

12:30pm – 1:30pm Lunch Buffet in MTD Lounge for finalists and guests

  • Refreshments will be served through the day at MTD Lounge
  • Please feel free to fill your bottles with water and take snacks, that you can also take back to your room

7:00pm Pre-Dinner drinks at MTD Foyer

From 7:30pm Awards Ceremony Dinner & Celebration (Dress code: cocktail attire – Suit and tie, cocktail dress) – Let the fun and celebration begin!

Friday 23rd May 2025

7:30am – 11:00am Breakfast served at SALT Restaurant for finalists and guests. If you would like breakfast to be served in your room, please arrange directly with the hotel. Please note that there may be an additional charge for room service, which will be at your own expense. 

12:00pm Check out

  • At check out, please use your credit card, corporate card or pay with cash to cover any hotel “extras, products or services” e.g., mini bar, room service, spa, bar, etc. After, you can follow your local travel & expenses process and request a reimbursement, when applies.
  • Please note that all refreshments served at MTD Lounge are complimentary for you and your guest and are available to take away.

  • At MTD reception desk, please check and book your participation in the iPad and MTD evaluation system Sessions, offer from 2:00pm to 4:00pm (mandatory)
  • Hotel will ask for a credit card or cash in advance to cover any hotel “extras, products or services” e.g., mini bar, room service, spa, bar, etc, as MTD Event don’t cover these expenses.
  • On arrival you will be shown to the MTD Lounge with beverages and snacks refreshments, which you can use throughout your stay.
  • Connect and meet Finalists, Evaluators and MTD Logistics Team in the MTD Lounge.
  • Lunch will be available in the MTD lounge between the hours of 12noon and 2.00pm. If you have added your diet restrictions in the registration form, the food will be indicated accordingly and contact hotel staff.

7:30pm – 10:00pm Welcome Reception & Dinner for all participants at “SALT Restaurant and Beach Club” – Lower Ground Floor (Dress code: Smart Casual)

Thursday 22nd May 2025

7:30am – 8:20am Breakfast served at SALT Restaurant

8:20am – 8:45am Meet at Evaluation rooms to get ready for evaluation day, checking MTD evaluation system and iPads.

At 9:00am sharp Starts evaluation of projects in the Evaluation rooms – Agenda will be shared closer to the event. Dress code: Business as usual

Once the evaluations are completed and finished in system, some of the evaluators will go to MTD foyer for the rehearsal of the Awards Ceremony. Time to be confirmed.

After, you are free to leave the area and spend the remaining time, at leisure.
